Scandinavian Overtone Singing Festival 18 – 20 March

Welcome to Scandinavias third Overtone Singing Festival, join us in Lund 18 —20 March 2011! There will be workshops, exhibitions, concerts and song circles of improvised harmonic chanting.

At the festival we proudly present the following artists:
Vladiswar Nadishana, Sanna Kurki-Suonio, Julia Renöckl, Jan Heinke & Stahlquartett, Anna Elwing, Hosoo & Ensemble Transmongolia, Wolfgang Saus, Skye Löfvander, Midnattskören and the vocal group Volare.

SONG

Welcome to SONG, Scania Overtone Singing Association.

The association was initiated 2005 by SONGs chairman Goesta Petersen, inspired by the danish overtone singing association, GONG. The purpose of the association is to create a platform for people in Scania interested in developing and promoting the art of overtone singing.

SONG arranges song circles (improvised and wordless harmonic chanting) every second week in Klosterkyrkan in Lund. We have also arranged a number of workshops and concerts with invited artists.
